HAAS VM3

Manufactured by Haas, the VM3 has become the preferred milling machine in the wheel industry. This mill can handle up to 26” diameter wheels and centers. Some specifications of the VM3 are:

• Work cube is 40” x 26” x 25”
• Table is 54” x 25” and made out of cast iron, with T-slots
• 12,000- RPM spindle powered by a 30-hp vector dual drive system
• Has a unique inline, direct-drive system that eliminates belts & heat
• Maximum capacity of 4000 lb.
• Comes with a 24+1 side-mount tool changer
• Automatic chip auger system
• Programmable coolant nozzle
• Less vibration
